who we are
Since 2017 I've been working as a full time freelance illustrator and graphic designer, specializing in logos, branding, custom illustration, apparel, label, packaging design and more. Looking back to the beginning of Kinsey H. Designs and my years of country hoping and living in vans, it all started in 2014 I graduated from the university of Vermont with a bachelor
of arts in Chinese Language and Business Administration. After graduation, I moved to Shenzhen, China to teach English for two years. I spent those two years solo backpacking throughout Southeast Asia and teaching classes.
Following that, I moved to Australia for one year, beach hopping and traveling from coast to coast living in a van. After heading back to the United States in 2017, I road tripped from Boston to California and began to work as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer, while continuing to teach English and Art in San Diego. I attended the University of California, San Diego, and obtained a Graphic Design Certificate. I now work with both print and digital design such as illustrations, logos, branding, marketing materials, and web design. I find a lot of joy in being outdoors, adventuring, creating, and exploring whenever I can, which shows throughout my work.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Kinsey and I'm the Illustrator and Graphic Designer behind Kinsey H. Designs. I’ve been beyond fortunate to get in my car and go, buy a one way ticket to a new country and live there for a few years.
In all my years of beach hopping, van living, missing flights, sleeping in hostels and overnight busses, I’ve learned a few things. Not saying I know it all, but this is what I’ve learned so far…

We work with a wide range of design services, We first start by reviewing all of your project needs and details. Once we review everything and have a strong understanding of what you are looking for, the fun part begins.
Design process leads to the initial deliverables. For each project there are always a larger number of initial design options than the finalized designs within that package. We then work to finalize the project, leading to a sweet design and a happy client.

logo & branding packages
logo design
The primary service we offer is the Logo Design package includes the building of your primary logo. We will work to create an initial 5-7 logos for you, we call this a logo kit. From there we work towards finalizing one logo. This is now your sweet a** primary logo. Need more than that, then we got you covered for all your branding needs beyond just the logo. If you also want to move forward with more than you primary logo, you are more that welcome too. Moving forward with additional logos with or without edits adds on an additional cost. The Branding Kit is an extension of the logo design package. Once we finalize your primary logo, we then build and create your full branding guidelines. These include your primary logo (from the logo design package), secondary logos, color palette, primary and secondary fonts, pattern design, icons, and business card design. This package also includes an option for all the goodies listed above, but with removing the business cards for a lower cost. All of these assets are what your business needs to build your website & social platforms, market yourself fully, print branded packaging design, and keep your company's identity fully cohesive, recognizable, and looking nice!
